GRID RANGER is a short, 3D shmuplike with laser sharp aesthetics and a retro-futuristic soundtrack. Dodge and blast your way through 3 super-intense levels and see what lies beyond the grid...

This is a small-scope project and is priced accordingly. Frequent updates are planned over its development cycle, leading up to 1.0 launch:

Additional info:

  • Mouse-oriented controls for extra precision (The CNTRL option adjusts sensitivity), with controller support coming very soon
  • Uses the V99 vector engine (like its sister game UTOPIA MUST FALL) for a clean & classic look
  • 3 levels total, each increasing in difficulty, to reach insane levels of intensity by the very end
  • 7 original tracks by Miles Tilmann, composer for NOVA DRIFT

Me gusta lo sencillo que es

Este juego es una delicia, que aspecto más retro 👍

Awesome! I dig that old retro arcade vibe that done really well in this game.

Hi! I'm having some trouble getting the Mac version working. This might be my fault, because I have an _extremely_ strange setup, but... is it possible you compiled only an Apple Silicon binary, instead of an Intel / Apple Silicon universal binary? If so, could you possibly fix this so that the game can run on Intel-based Macs? Thank you!

Just uploaded a separate Intel version (GridRanger_MAC_Intel_0741) - that should work for you.

This looks good and interesting!

Congrats on getting featured on itch's channel! Also the game looks really cool, reminds me of Operius but more advanced :D
